This year we graduated a bright, vibrant class from the Seminary. It was a very special day and we have tons of pictures to prove it. It was also a sad day though because you are saying goodbye to so many people as well. It feels like the end of an era even though you have students the next year, it still is sad to say goodbye to the fourth year students.
This group was stubborn at times but they were inquisitive as well and constantly desiring to learn. I pray that they will have taken the best that we could give them from here and that they will take what they’ve been taught and use it to glory of God wherever he takes them.
It is a hard thing in Spain to go into ministry. It will be difficult for these men and women to find placement here, though we help them. The biggest problem for most of them is that being in ministry doesn’t pay a cent. Therefore, it really takes an act of God to get some of them to launch into a ministry. Here in Spain faith HAS to be a part of ministry. Sadly in other parts of the world, ministry is a fun and profitable job and faith never needs to enter the picture.
